Over the years, I’ve become certified in whitewater rescue, ice rescue, and as a Wilderness First Responder — training that reflects a deep respect for the power and unpredictability of the outdoors. I guided for two seasons on Lake Erie for smallmouth bass and led drift boat tours on the Grand River for migrating steelhead, as well as zipline tours along the Lake Erie marshlands

I’m also an avid multi-species angler, which has helped diversify my experience and sharpen my understanding of the gear and needs of those we serve. That hands-on knowledge directly translates to the quality and care I bring to in-shop service.

In 2018, I met Roy and Cindy Kamrath, and after managing their business for 4.5 years, I proudly took over the reins in March 2024.
